Yes. Drone building cleaning in Canada operates under Transport Canada’s Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS) rules in the Canadian Aviation Regulations, Part IX. The aircraft is registered and flights near buildings and people follow set requirements. Transport Canada publishes those rules, so you can check them against any operator you are considering, including us.

Accepted Answer

Drone cleaning is the lower-disruption default: no crew suspended over your building, no anchor rigging on the structure, no swing stage, and usually no road or sidewalk closure, so the job is faster and quieter for your residents and tenants. Rope access is the legacy method. It still fits some structures and detailed hand-cleaning, but it puts a crew at height over your building and is more disruptive to set up.

It suits windows, glass, and facades on most mid-to-high-rise commercial and strata buildings with a reasonably open, flyable exterior. Deep balconies, heavy overhangs, or tight surrounding airspace can limit where a drone reaches, and clearing gutters is a hands-on job a drone only inspects. Where the drone cannot reach a surface on your building, the quote says so and scopes the right method for it.

Softwashing cleans with low pressure and a solution; pressure washing cleans with high-pressure water. For stucco, vinyl, and painted cladding, softwash is safer, because high pressure can drive water behind the cladding or strip the finish. We run the low-pressure facade clean by drone where the surface suits it, and keep high pressure to hard surfaces like concrete and parkades.
